A top government official in the Philippines insisted that the Philippines is a ‘model country’ in preventing the spread of the deadly new coronavirus as it doesn’t record any case of local transmission of the virus.
According to Health Secretary Francisco Duque, the preventive measure imposed by the country against the coronavirus was imposed by the World Health Organization (WHO) as effective and imitable.
“They’re saying that the world should emulate the Philippines. They’re saying that we’re a good example,” he was quoted as saying by ABS-CBN.
