A coronavirus quarantine hotel has collapsed in southern China that trapped 70 people inside.
In a People’s Daily Report, the hotel is located at Quanzhou and was used as a quarantine centre for residents with positive and suspected coronavirus.
Citing the Ministry of Emergency Management, 43 people have been rescued in the rubble while search efforts are still ongoing as of this writing.
Quanzhou is some 600 miles away from Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak in China where more than 3,000 people have died from the virus.
The report didn’t mention why the hotel had collapsed.
