As Kuwaiti government imposed travel ban on the Philippines to liit the spred of coronavirus, at least 100 overseas Filipinos are stranded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
“The ban covers Filipinos and nationals of the six other countries. Foreigners with a valid residence visa in Kuwait and even those who previously entered the country were also banned,” The Filipino Times reported.
Returning Kuwaitis, meanwhile, are required to undergo mandatory quarantine.
Kuwait also extends its travel ban to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Iran, Thailand, Italy and Iraq.
