Kuwait bans individuals who have been to the Philippines in the last two weeks over coronavirus

The Philippine Embassy in Bahrain has recently posted an advisory, informing the public on the suspension of flights to and from the Philippines and six other countries over coronavirus scare.

“Individuals who have been to the Philippines and six other countries in the last two weeks are also banned from entering Kuwait,” the Embassy wrote.

The six other countries are Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka.

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait advised returning Filipinos, and those transiting through Bahrain International Airport, to reconsider flight.

“You will not be allowed to enter Kuwait at this time. You may wish to rebook your flights and re-schedule at a later date,” the circular added.
