Kuwait stops all commercial flights ‘until further notice’

The government of Kuwait has recently announced that it’s stopping all commercial flights to and from the Gulf Arab state starting Friday and until further notice.

According to the state news agency KUNA, the suspension excludes cargo flights.

The authorities have also announced a public holiday in Kuwait from March 12 to March 26.

Regular work is set to resume on March 24.

Meanwhile, entities providing vital services would remain open.
