NBA suspends its season indefinitely after player tested positive for coronavirus

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has decided to suspend its season ‘indefinitely’ after a player tested for the deadly coronavirus.

A Utah Jazz player contracted the virus.

The suspension, citing NBA’s statement, will take effect after the completion of Wednesday’s schedule.

“The NBA will us this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic,” the statement read.
