Kuwaiti authorities are urging their residents and citizens to pray in their homes first as they temporarily suspend Friday sermons and prayers to curb the spread of pandemic coronavirus.
The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs posted on Twitter the official announcement.

It is stipulated in the announcement to stop Friday sermon and prayers as mosques from today until further notice.
“Everyone must pray in their homes,” the ministry wrote.
