Iran confirms 13,938 coronavirus cases; 724 people have already died

For the past 24 hours, 1,209 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Iran, making the total number to 13,938. Death toll is now at 724 after reporting 113 new deaths in the past 24 hours.

The latest figure has been tweeted by Alireza Vahabzadeh, an adviser to Iran’s health minister.
