Qatar has the highest number of Covid-19 cases, 320, after Iran in Middle East


After recording 17 new cases of coronavirus, Qatar has now 320 confirmed cases, making it the country wth the highest number of Covid-19 patients in the Middle East, after Iran, followed by Bahrain and Kuwait.

Citing the Ministry of Public Health, Al Arabiya reported that the new patients were in touch with patients among expatriate workers currently in quarantine.

As the Covid-19 drastically increases in the state, the local government of Qatar decided to close cinemas, theatres, children’s play areas, gyms, and wedding venues.
