China donates 2,000 high-tech coronavirus testing kits to Philippines

A total of 2,000 coronavirus testing kits from China have arrived now in Manila amid growing number of cases being reported in the Philippines.

According to Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, more kits are to follow in the coming days.

“The high-tech fast test kits, developed by China BGI Group, have a capability to issue results in 3 hours,” the statement read.

The kits that were sent to the Philippines have been widely used in China’s battle against the epidemic and proven to be quite effective.
