As part of the ongoing enhanced community quarantine in the entire island of Luzon, major airlines will be suspending all flights between UAE and Manila.
All flights via Etihad airlines will be suspended from March 18 until further notice; the Philippine Airlines, on the other hand, will suspend flights between Dubai and Manila from March 20 until April 12; and Cebu Pacific on March 19 until April 14.
All domestic flights of PAL have also been cancelled since today, March 17, until April 12; and Cebu Pacific will suspend flights from March 19 until April 14.
The affected airports in Luzon include Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the Philippine’s main gateway, and Clark International Airport.
“The Philippine government recently implemented enhanced community quarantine over Luzon, and similar directives across various provincess in the country. Cebu Pacific is ensuring the safety of their passengers and operations teams, in support of stricter quarantine measures, land travel restrictions and regulations in place,” Cebu Pacific wrote in its website.
