Some travel agencies in Dubai take advantage of Covid-19 by selling overpriced visit visas

-

Expats on visit and tourist visas are now being exhausted by some travel agencies as they are forced to pay for a visit visa which cost way higher than the normal price.

In a Gulf News report, an anonymous Filipino expat was interviewed and revealed that she has paid a total of AED 1,400 for a 30-day visa extension.

Normally, a 30-day visit visa extension only cost AED 950.

Some travel agencies are also selling three months tourist visa for as much as AED 2,700.

These expats on tourist and visa are left with no option but to avail the current price.

“Our old price was only AED 1,050 for a 30-day tourist visa extension but our boss advised us we are now selling it at AED 1,350. No reason was given except thes cost from the supplier has also increases,” a travel agency employee was quoted as saying by Gulf News.
