Breaking: UAE suspends all inbound and outbound passenger flights for two weeks

All inbound and outbound flights will be suspended in the UAE for the next two weeks.

The National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management and the Civil Aviation Authority have decided to suspend all flights in likne with UAE’s effort to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The decision will take effect in 48 hours. Cargo and emergency evacuation flights are exempted.

“Additional examination and isolation arrangements will be taken later should flights resume in order to ensure the safety of passengers, air crew, and airport personnel and their protection from infection risks,” CAA said in a statement.
