Philippine ambassador in UAE asks Filipinos to stay at home or accommodation if possible

A top official at the Philippine Embassy in the UAE asked Filipinos in the country to follow rules set by the local government to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

“Ako po ay humihilinh sa lahat ng kababayan ko sa UAE na sumunod sa lahat ng mga patakaran at kautusan ng UAE na sumunod sa lahat ng mga patakaran at kautusan ng UAE na may kinalaman sa paglaban at pagpigil sa paglaganap ng coronavirus,” Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana said in a statement posted on Philippine Embassy in UAE Facebook page.

She also added that if possible, Filipinos must stay in their homes and accommodation.
