After endangering the lives of front liners in the Philippines, Senator Koko Pimentel still denied he had violated coronavirus self-quarantine protocols.
The Philippine senator, who was considered person under investigation (PUI) that time, reasoned out that he was limiting his movements when he visited the Makati Medical Centre Hospital accompnying his wife who was about to give birth.
He said that they went to the hospital at 6pm and received the positive result at 9pm.
Citing Department of Health guideliness, PUI must complete a 14-day quarantine period.
Pimentel said nobody had imposed a qaurantine on him.
“But to cooperate with the enhanced community quarantine, hindi rin naman po ako lumalabas. With or without quarantine hindi naman po ako lakwatsero. I’m a homebody. Natural po sa akin just to stay at home,” he was quoted as saying by ANC.

DOH’s simple rule for all. Once you have yourself tested for #covid19… self quarantine until results are out. Cong Eric Yap had similar problem. He had himself tested March 15…then he went to work in congress , results came out March 25… he was positive.

Shame on you, Koko Pimentel! You put doctors and the sick in danger. A PUI not revealing his status was the reason a doctor died a few days ago. How can our senators be so callous, irresponsbible and self-centered? Disgusting!

We will never forget this.
Sa interview ng 24 Oras kay Pimentel, hinihintay ko yung apology niya sa Makati Med. WALA. "i-disinfect na lang nila yan". KAPAL NG MUKHA. pic.twitter.com/kBLMuuq68g
