ATN ALAMIN: Puwede ba mag-extend ng passport na less than six months ang validity?

The Philippine Embassy in the UAE has recently launched a new sgement called ‘ATN Alamin’ to address Filipinos concern regarding passport renewal and other services in the middle of coronavirus outbreak.

ATN Alamin No. 1

Question:

Puwede bang ma-extend ang passport na less than six months ang validity? | Kailan po muling magkakaroon ng passport renewal, notarials, kasal at report of birth sa Embassy?

Answer:

  • Sa ngayon, suspended pa rin po ang lahat ng frontline services sa Embassy dala ng mga pag-iingat at “stay home” directive ng UAE.
  • Hindi tayo dapat mag-alala sa mga bagay tungkol sa mga dokumento, ang mahalaga ay malampasan muna nating lahat ang problemang pangkalusugan o COVID-19 na tinatawag.
  • Huwag mag-alala at kapag bumalik sa normal ang sitwasyon ay pipilitin ng Embassy na bigyan ng lunas ang mga problema sa dokumento na ilalapit ng ating mga kababayan lalong-lalo na kung ito ay emergency at may kinalaman sa kalusugan, trabaho o residency permit.
