UAE announces extension of suspension of all public transit services


The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that it will extend the suspension of all public transit services in Dubai until April 5, 2020 as part of the National Disinfection Programme.

The extended programme will run from 8pm to 6am, from March 29 to April 5.

During these hours over this period, all public transport, including train, taxi and trams, will stop and will only operate from 7am to 7pm.

Meanwhile, RTA has also announced that all modes of Marine Transports will be suspended for one month effective today, March 29.
