Government to give up to Php8,000 to every household in the Philippines next week


The Philippine government is giving away cash assistance to families in the Philippines starting next week.

The 24.6 million household in across the country will receive Php5,000 to Php8,000.

Workers earning regular monthly wages from the formal sectors shall receive Php5,000. However, informal sectors were subdivided further into regions. Residents in Metro Manila shall receive Php8,000. Informal sectors are those senior citizens, persons with disability, pregnant and lactating women, solo parents, distressed OFWs, homeless families, among others.

Other regions wil recieve the amount:

Cordillera Administrative Region: P5,000
Region 1 – Ilocos Region: P5,500
Region 2 – Cagayan Valley: P5,500
Region 3 – Central Luzon: P6,500
Region 4a – Calabarzon: P6,500
Region 4b – Mimaropa: P5,000
Region 5 – Bicol: P5,000
Region 6 – Western Visayas: P6,000
Region 7 – Central Visayas: P6,000
Region 8 – Eastern Visayas: P5,000
Region 9 – Zamboanga Peninsula: P5,000
Region 10 – Northern Mindanao: P6,000
Region 11 – Davao Region: P6,000
Region 12 – Soccskargen: P5,000
BARMM: P5,000
