In UAE, a coronavirus patient has infected 36 others he was in touch with

-

A top official in the UAE said that a patient with the new coronavirus has infected 36 others he was in touch with.

“It’s really unfortunate that one person infected so many others around him,” Dr. Farida Al Hosani, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) was quoted as saying by Khaleej Times.

In a report last week, MOHAP has also announced that a patient with the virus had also infected 17 others, including family members and colleagues, for failing to follow the quarantine protocols.

“We advise anyone coughing, sneezing, or developing fly symptoms to stay home and avoid any physical contact with others,” Dr. Farida said.
