The government of Dubai announced that it will closing Al Ras area, one of the most densely population in the Emirate, for a period of two weeks to fight the spread of coronavirus.

In a social media tweet, the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management said that it will intensify sterilization procedures in the area starting March 31.
. @DubaiPoliceHQ appeals to the public to cooperate fully with the authorities and abide by all instructions to ensure the preventive measures implemented during the two-week period are a success. Residents will be supplied with essential supplies to residents.
Meanwhile, three metro lines such as Al Ras, Palm Deira, and Baniyas Square and main roads and interchanges leading to the area will also be closed.
