Dubai closes down Al Ras area; residents to receive supplies for 2 weeks

The government of Dubai announced that it will closing Al Ras area, one of the most densely population in the Emirate, for a period of two weeks to fight the spread of coronavirus.

In a social media tweet, the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management said that it will intensify sterilization procedures in the area starting March 31.

Residents will be supplied with essential supplies to residents.

Meanwhile, three metro lines such as Al Ras, Palm Deira, and Baniyas Square and main roads and interchanges leading to the area will also be closed.
