Nearly 10,000 motorists caught on camera violating sterilization program in UAE

In the Emirate of Sharjah, more than 9,000 motorists were caught on traffic radars during the National Sterilization Programme.

According to a top official from the Sharjah Police every vehicle and violator on road during the period (8pm to 6am) will be dealt with case.

“Every vehicle on road during the sanitation hours – 8pm to 6am – will be dealt case by case. Traffic has been smooth as most people adhere to the regulations by staying at their homes, working remotely and stepping out just for necessities,” Major-General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of the Sharjah Police.
