Disinfection drive in UAE to continue ‘according to each emirate’s needs’

- Advertisment -

The weeklong National Sanitation Programme in the UAE was supposed to finish today, but according to a new announcement, it will continue based on each emirate’s needs.

The Ministry of Health and and Prevention (MOHAP), along with the Ministry of Interior, noted that the drive will be carried out daily from 8pm to 6am.

Restriction on movements of traffic and the public will still be observed during this period.

The decision to extend the initiative is part of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recommendations and in line with the approved international practices.

‘Further facilities and establishment’ will be included in the sanitation, Gulf News reported.

All residents and citizens are advised to stay home while the two authorities stop the spread of coronavirus.
