Families in the Philippines, including distressed OFWs, receive Php8,000 from government

The Philippine government has already started to give families in the country Php8,000 cash aid who need it most in the capital.

According to the Department of Labor and Employment, among the beneficiaries are families with at least one member who us a senior citizen, person with disability, pregnant woman, solo parent, distressed overseas Filipino or indigent indigenous person.

The national government also gives poorest of the poor, homeless person or those working in the informal sector, among others.
