China reports zero coronavirus death for the first time

For the very first time since it started announcing figures in January, China has recorded zero coronavirus-related deaths.

The mainland has been reporting few cases since March, but a second wave of infections brought from overseas is now nearly 1,000 cases.

Health authorities in China reported 32 new cases nationwide, all are imported by visitors.
