POLO-Dubai starts accepting applications for Php10,000 assistance for OFWs

Consul General Paul Raymun Cortest announced that the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Dubai and the Norther Emirates (POLO-Dubai) is now accepting applications for the one-time financial assistance of Php10,000 or AED730 for displaced OFWs due to coronavirus.

“DOLE-AKAP will accept applicantions for the one-time financial assistance of Php10,000 or AED730 for displaced OFWs on account of COVID-19,” the statement read.

In a Facebook page by Cortes, he mentioned that among the qualified OFWs are those who have experienced job displacement due to the receiving country’s imposition of lockdown or community quarantine or having been infected by the disease.
