UAE announces recovery of 29 coronavirus cases; total now 268

UAE announced the recovery of 29 patients from the deadly coronavirus. The total recoveries now is 268.

The patients are of different nationalities according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

Meanwhile, the country has also recorded 331 new cases of the virus, bringing the total to 2,990.

According to the health authority, majority of these cases did not follow the quarantine protocols and proper social distancing.

Two patients were also announced dead due to the virus, bringing the total number of death toll to 14.

To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the residents are strongly urged to follow preventive health and personal hygiene measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
