BREAKING: POLO now includes OFWs on ‘no work no pay’ in AED730 cash assistance

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office has updated its guidelines in distributing the AED 730.

The new decision now includes those temporarily displaced due to Covid-19.

It was initially reported that only those who have permanently lost their job can avail it.

The qualified beneficiaries are below:

  1. Regular or documented OFWs; or qualified undocumented OFWs
  2. Have experienced job displacement due to Covid-19, as follows;
    -Workers who remain to be unemployed at the time of availment of the finacial assistance under the DOLE-AKAP
    -Workers under a no work no pay arrangement
    -Workers who are unable to work and receive their salaries due to Covid-19 infections.
