UAE announces 93 more Covid-19 recoveries; total now 1,188


UAE announced the recovery of 93 more patients from the coronavirus, taking the total number to 1,188.

The country has been seeing more recoveries each day.

Meanwhile, a total of 477 new Covid-19 cases have been added on April 17, making the total number to 6,302.

To detect the new cases announced, the country has had ran 24,000 tests.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) in UAE has also confirmed the death of two GCC nationals who have died from the virus.

The total number of death toll in the country is now 37.
