CONFIRMED: Bahrain successfully ‘flatten the curve’; plans to re-open stores and malls

-

The Kingdom of Bahrain has successfully flatten the curve and curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Citing a local report from The Daily Tribune News of Bahrain, the country is set to be the first one of the countries in the world to ease restrictions and re-open select stores and malls.

The Kingdom has one of the highest testing rates per capital in the world–with a total of 79,612 people screened as of April 17.

As of today, April 19, Bahrain reported 23 more recoveries from the virus as well as over a thousand stable cases, indicating its success in limiting the Covid-19 spread.

As part of its heightened measure against the spread of the virus, the country is conducting random testing. Out of the 1,011 confirmed cases, 1,008 of those are in stable condition.

Only three cases are in a critical condition, while the total recorded death stands at seven.
