-

Welfare Officer Danilo Flores is reportedly asked by the labor secretary in the Philippines to go back to home after allegedly verbally abused an overseas Filipino worker during the distribution of relief packs.

“I have ordered the recall of our welfare officer from Dubai and he will take the first flight home,” Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said in a statement.

After the video of Joy Parafina gone viral, Bello has ordered swift investigation regarding the misconduct done by the officer.

Flores was also suspended a day after the video went viral on the internet.
