‘KUMIKILOS PO TAYO’: ConGen in Dubai gives update on DOLE’s AED 730 cash assistance

Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes has recently gave an update on the AED 730 cash assistance given to OFWs in the emirate who are affected by Covid-19 crisis.

As of 9pm of April 19, the total number of applications the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Dubai received is 10,933. Of the total number, only 3,004 applications have already been evaluated.

“Kumikilos po tayo. Please trust in government po. Salamat,” Cortes wrote on his Facebook page.

OFWs who have permanently lost their jobs and those on ‘no work no pay’ scheme are qualified to avail the cash assistance.
