The Philippine Overseas Labor Offices in Dubai has started to roll out the AED730 cash assistance to OFWs affected by the economic effect of Covid-19.
In a post shared by community page Sabi ni Donna, it posts a screenshot showing a receipt from Al Ansari Exchange with AED730 cash.
“Thank you POLO Dubai and Northern Emirates for cash assistance. Thank you President Duterte. Thank you Lord. Sa mga nakapag-submit, wait lang po kayo, makakakuha din kayo,” the caption read.
Currently, POLO has temporarily suspended the acceptance of DOLE-AKAP application due to lack of funds.
As of April 19, a total of 3,004 applications have already been verified from the 10,933 received applications.
