BREAKING: UAE mosques to remain closed during Ramadan

-

UAE mosques will remain closed during the Holy month of Ramadan, UAE government confirmed on its official Twitter account.

The reason of closure is that it is difficult to practice social distancing whil performing prayers at mosques.

All Islamic prayers during Ramadan will only be performed at home as instructed by the health and security authorities.

“We urge the public to adhere to health practices and precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 and protect the public health,” the statement read.
