The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has started making face masks for front liners in the emirate using 3D printing technology.
According to a post by the Dubai Media Office, the face masks are being printed at DHA’s Al-Bada’a Health Centre laboratories in the Primary Health Care Sector.

The Dubai Police has also provided 3D-printed face shields to its front liner personnel.
About 1,000 police officers have been given with the equipment to shield them against the virus.
Face shields, produced using 3D printing technology, are equipped to provide the highest level of protection.
