Dubai’s RTA to give pre-loaded Nol cards to passengers

-

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is giving away free pre-loaded Nol cards to senior citizens and families of taxi drivers as part of their initiative during Ramadan.

With the pre-loaded Nol card, beneficiaries can purchase their Ramadan essentials from supermarkets.

As part of its contribution to the ’10 Million Meals’ campaign by the Dubai government, RTA will also distribute thousands of meals to the needy ones.

The transport authority will also provide iftar meals to the maintenance staff at Latifah Hospital, Rashid Hospital and Dubai Ambulance Service.

“His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a pioneer in humanitarian acts, has mde it a habit for us to launch humanitarian and social initiatives to serve humanity across the world. These initiatives and campaigns come in support of the path of giving, whose rules were laid down by out Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as the act of goodness has become the identity of the UAE,” Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board Executive Directors of the RTA said in a statement.
