A total of 13 Filipinos on tourist visa from the UAE will be arriving today in Manila as the Philippine mission starts to mass repatriate Filipinos severely affected by Covid-19.
The 13 Filipinos boarded a special Emirates flight, EK344, bound for Manila and expected to land at 9:05pm (Philippines time) or 5:05pm (UAE time) on Tuesday.
So far, 494 Filipinos have already been repatriated since the start of Covid-19 outbreak.
According to Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, 73 more Filipinos on tourist visa are expected to be repatriated soon, including 50 visitors who are scheduled to fly from UAE on May 3.
