Over 60,000 OFWs sign petition to remove PhilHealth’s 3% payment from their salaries

-

In less than 12 hours, more than 60,000 OFWs have already signed an online petition to remove the mandatory PhiliHealth’s 3% premium payment from OFWs salaries.

The online petition was launched on May 2, around 2pm (Dubai time) via secure.avaaz.org.

Rage from overseas workers was met by the new policy of the PhilHealth which require migrant workers to pay 3% of their salaries.

The payment is computed based on the OFWs monthly salary, with the range of Php 10,000 to Php 60,000.

OFWs can’t also get their OECs or overseas employment certificate without paying their PhilHealth dues.

If you want to make a change, sign the online petition now by clicking this link.
