The United Arab Emirates reported on Monday, May 5, that 203 more coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients have fully-recovered — the highest ever recorded — bringing the total number of survivors to 2,966.

Meanwhile, the country has also reported 567 new cases on the same date, taking the total number of cases to 14,739.
After reporting 11 new deaths, the official death toll now in the UAE related to Covid-19 stands at 137.
