Population of OFWs in Middle East reaches more than 2 million as of January 2020

The Department of Foreign Affairs-Philippines revealed the total number of overseas Filipino workers (OFW) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as of January 2020.

The total number of documented Filipino migrant workers in MENA is now 2,221,448 including those permanent and temporary residents and undocumented or irregular migrants.

Saudi Arabia has the biggest Filipino population of Filipino workers at 865,131 followed by the United Arab Emirates with 648,929.
