The Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE announced 546 new Covid-19 cases and 206 recoveries.
To date, there are 15,738 confirmed cases in the UAE and 3,359 official recoveries from the deadly virus.
MOHAP also revealed that 30 of the newly detected cases are from two families who broke social distancing. Both families hold a small gathering that infected a two-month old infant and number of elderly people.
Death toll in the country now reached at 157 after reporting 11 on Wednesday, May 6.
