UAE’s Covid-19 cases climb to 16,240 after reporting 502 on Thursday

The Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE has reported 502 new Covid-19 cases in the country and eight new deaths.

Total cases to date is 16,240.

Meanwhile, death toll rises to 165 as of May 7.

A total of 213 recoveries have also been reported in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are 3,572 Covid-19 survivors in the country.

The new cases are the results from the 33,000 tests conducted across the country.
