Over 26,000 OFWs returned to Philippines due to Covid-19 crisis

As of 5:00 p.m. today, 8 May 2020, a total of 26,130 Filipinos have returned home due to COVID-19 crisis. A total of 18,446 of them are seafarers from 89 cruise ships while 7,684 are land-based workers.

The DFA Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs, together with over 90 Philippine Embassies and Consulates General, assures overseas Filipinos of continued assistance amidst the pandemic.
