UAE registers highest surge in Covid-19 recoveries after reporting 265 on Friday

The United Arab Emirates on May 8 reported 553 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths.

The total number of cases now stands at 16,291, and death toll is now at 166.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention also reported the recovery if 265 patients from the virus, taking the total number to 3,624.
