The Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE has reported 458 new Covid-19 recoveries, this is the highest ever recorded recovery so far.
The total number of recoveries in the country now reached 4,295 as of Saturday, May 9.
According to a Gulf News report, the consistent increase in the number of recoveries is courtesy to the intensive screening camps set up across the UAE.
Just recently, the Abu Dhabi Police in partnership with the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi, set up a Covid-19 screening centre as part of efforts to support preventive and precautionary measures being taken by the national government to curtail the spread of the deadly virus.
Meanwhile, on the same date, the country also registered 624 new cases and 11 deaths.
The total number of cases up to date is 17,417, while the number of deaths in the country reached 185.
