UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 624 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, May 9, taking the total number of cases to 17,417.
Currently, this is the highest single-day increase since announcing the cases months back.
The health ministry also reported the recovery of 458 patients, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country at 4,295.
The total number of deaths related to Covid-19 in the country is now 185 after reporting 11 deaths today.
