Filipino group distributes grocery items for people in need in Ajman

-

A group of Filipinos in Abu Dhabi is lending its hand to those Filipinos and non-Filipinos in need of support by distributing grocery items in Ajman area.

The group ‘Ajman Helping Hand’ will prioritize those visit visa holders, employees who have been terminated, whose visa has been cancelled, and on ‘no work no pay’ arrangement.

According to one of the members, Dennis Lubay, those in need just need to join the public Facebook group Ajman Helping Hand (please click this link to join) and comment on the post their status and address.

Lubay added that his group will drop off the grocery items to those people in need.

“Everyone needs a little help sometimes. After all, no one is meant to go through life alone. If life has given you blessings, it’s important to share those with your community. For some people, that could mean volunteering with a local charity or donating to a good cause. For others, sharing blessings might be as simple as having a conversation with someone or lending emotional support to a friend who is going through a tough time,” the group description read.
