About 600 employees in Amazon have been tested positive for Covid-19 and at least six have been reported dead due to comlications brought by the new virus.

In the ’60 Minutes’ TV show, Amazon employee Jana Jumpp revealed that the actual number is higher but they have at least 600 cases.

The company has recently hired an additional 175,000 employees during the pandemic.

They revealed that four employees died due to the respiratory disease.

“I can tell you right now, and the number is higher than thos, but we have at least 600 cases I was a little uncomfortable that cases were starting in Washington and it didn’t seem like anybody had a plan, even Amazon. So my only option at that point was to take a leave of absence,” Jumpp, who works in Amazon warehouse in Indiana, said.
