Wuhan reports new Covid-19 infections after a month without new infections

After a month without new infections, Wuhan has started to report a second day of new cases of Covid-19. The place is the pandemic’s epicentre.

On Sunday, one person got tested positive for Covid-19, and a day later, there were five more cases.

Citing an inquirer.net report, the new cases were all from the same residential compound, mostly older people.

In Hubei, 11 new patients have been diagnosed with the virus, all are asymptomatic.

The deadly virus was first seen in the province of Wuhan, sweeping though the city and world, killing thousands and sickening more.
