20-year-old student in Capiz dies after getting internet access to submit report online

A 20-year-old student has died in a road accident after looking for internet access to submit a report online in the province of Capiz.

According to Aklan State University’s community newspaper The Eamigas, Kriselyn Villance died on her way home via motorcycle after searching for internet signal so she can submit a school requirement online.

Villance was a second year criminology student of Capiz State University — Dumarao Campus, located in the island of Panay, Western Visayas.

She was reportedly going home with her father who was driving the motorcycle, the latter lost control of the handlebar that caused the accident, the official police report noted.

Villance was rushed to Dao District Hospital but died while being transferred to another hospital in Iloilo.
