PH Coast Guard offers ferry service for Covid-19 negative OFWs to Visayas and Mindanao

The Philippine Coast Guard will start limited trips starting Sunday, May 17, from Manila to Visayas and Mindanao provinces to take overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who tested negative for Covid-19 during the mandatory quarantine.

In a Facebook post, OFWs who have Red Cross certificates and quarantine clearances with negative results can avail of the trips.

“Trips are limited to repatriated land-based and sea-based OFWs,” the announcemet read.

Trips will start from Manila and arrive in the following provinces: Dumaguete-Cagayan de Oro, Bacolog-Iloilo-Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo-Bacolod, Cebu-Cagayan de Oro, Cebu-Dumaguete-Ozamis-Iligan-Zamboanga.
